When getting some initial feedback for Evolutionist one of my friends didn’t like my choice of expletive that’s shouted. He gave some ridiculous suggestions, most of which I can’t even remember because I purged them immediately. In retrospect, I sort of like “Darwindammit” but it doesn’t really roll off the tongue.
When I showed this comic to a friend for feedback, his response is “I can’t condone this.” His reaction just made me want to put this comic out even more, even if just spitefully. I pressured him about why he couldn’t endorse this comic and it finally came up that he was a religious dude, and it bothered him on that level. Which I found strange as it’s not doing anything to denounce Catholicism or Christianity or whatever he was (I wasn’t really paying attention) but pokes more fun at the evolutionist or athiest.
